NextGen Aeronautics is an innovative and aggressive young company with the unique vision of providing advanced enabling technologies for future-generation aerospace vehicles.

Core capabilities are centered on structural technologies, including adaptive and multifunctional structures, that allow enhanced performance of aerospace systems over a greater flight regime as well as affording great overall mission capabilities than conventional platforms available today.

NextGen is developing advanced concepts in morphing structures, sensors and actuators, structural health monitoring, and integrated antennas in addition to designing the latest in engineering analysis and design methods to support these core technical disciplines.

As a company, our goal is to provide the latest in advanced structural technologies and engineering methods and services to the aerospace community. In so doing, NextGen is celebrating the first century of flight by ensuring the innovative spirit of the founders of flight is carried into the next 100 years.

Started in 2003 with a team of 4, NextGen has rapidly grown to 33 employees today – all highly qualified engineers, scientists, and R&D management personnel from across industry and academia.  Together, we have over 200 years combined of aerospace R&D and production/systems experience.
