Fabrication & Machine Lead:
Lead and provide direction for the Fabrication, Machine and Test group that provides personnel, services, and resources to meet the current and future requirements of the company. Lead all shop personnel in the fabrication, machining, inspection, and instrumentation of all internal and external projects on a day to day basis. Possess strong leadership and team building skills with the ability to effectively communicate and motivate people in a team environment. Communicate directly with customers on a daily basis to work together until the completion of the project. Understand test objectives to aid management in providing customers and management with ideas, cost saving recommendations, and man hour estimates. Assist in the procurement of all materials, supplies, and tools to complete projects and for daily operations of the group. Encourage compliance with NextGen Aeronautics policies and procedures. Share manager’s responsibilities to maintain uninterrupted work flow and provide a team oriented work force. Responsible for all of the fabrication assets, equipment, and assist management in the environmental health and safety regulations of group employees.
Requirements: Able to speak, read, write and understand English. Willing to work days, overtime, weekends and holidays as required. Have own personal set of wide ranging standard and basic precision tools.

CNC Programmer/Machinist 3:
Work independently to perform and help direct the CNC programming, advanced machining, assembly, inspection and installation of all types of components, highly complex mechanical test structures, fixtures, specimens, research models, and flying vehicles used in research and developmental aerospace testing for laboratory, ground and flight systems. Work from complex CAD models, blueprints, sketches, loft lines, verbal instruction and other engineering information. Work in a team environment and assist management in the direction of lower classification personnel. Work highly proficient with the machining of wood, metal, plastic and composite materials, with all shop machinery, hand tools, and extensive knowledge of C.N.C machining. Work on all aspects of the programming of C.N.C. machining. Work on CAD/CAM software (Knowledge of SolidWorks and Camworks a plus) to produce C.N.C. programs from solid three dimensional parts and two dimensional drawings. Work on computer software CAD programs to create and design jigs, tooling, and parts to complete project. Plans sequence of machining, methods and organization of work, and be able to produce designs for completion of tasks for projects assigned. Supports test operations both on and off-site. Able to interact with contacts representing outside organizations and individuals within NextGen Aeronautics.

Aerospace Design - Lead Engineer:
Qualification: Minimum B.S. in Engineering with at least five years design experience in the aerospace industry.
Primary job duties include leading the design effort on a wide variety of projects, directing junior engineers, interfacing with customers, sub-contractors, analysts, and fabrication and test personnel. Experience in the design of wind tunnel and/or flight demonstration aircraft models is required. Familiarity with stress analysis and preliminary aircraft design will be a significant plus. Good written, verbal, and presentation skills are essential.

Electrical & Mechanical Engineering Internships (Positions Available Annually from May to September):
We are looking for mechanical or electrical engineers to work as interns. Bachelor, master and PhD students are welcome. We have projects requiring experience in signal processing hardware/software integration and materials research. Responsibilities may include standard and custom hardware and software, subcomponent, system-level integration; design, experimentation, and materials research. DoD report writing and coordinating with other aerospace engineers.
Qualifications: Must be a US Citizen. Electrical or Mechanical Engineering bachelors, masters, or PhD student. Hands-on, can work independently with minimal direction, self-starter, excellent communication a must, flexible and creative. Can work on multiple projects and is willing to learn.
